In 2020 when the question was asked of the Moray Feu residents, they showed 100% support for celebrating the anniversary with the objective to;
• Tell our story to the world
• To inform residents and the people of Edinburgh about the history and heritage
• To capture a creative picture of the Moray Feu 200 years on
• To bring residents together as a community
Our year attracted 55 donors, 4 sponsors, 3000 attendances and 20 + volunteers. The book on the Moray Feu provides a lasting legacy and has sold more than 300 copies.
An event will take place at Chris Close Gallery from 6th to 9th December 2023 featuring the winners of our photo competition and images from Chris Close – photographer in residence,
